Both paper types produce photo-quality output with sharp detail and smooth gradients. Neither is inherently better — choose based on where the poster will be displayed and viewed.

Image Resolution Requirements

Poster quality depends heavily on the resolution of your source file. For sharp results:

• Files should be at minimum 150 DPI at the final print size
• 300 DPI is ideal and recommended for photos and detailed artwork
• For a 24x36 poster at 150 DPI, your image file should be at least 3600 x 5400 pixels
• Vector graphics (from Adobe Illustrator or similar) scale perfectly at any size

Standard Poster Sizes

• 11x17: Great for bulletin boards, small event posters, and promotional displays in tight spaces.
• 18x24: The standard event poster size. Visible from a distance, readable up close.
• 24x36: Large and commanding. Common for trade shows, storefronts, and high-traffic display areas.
• Custom sizes: Available by request. Contact us with your exact dimensions for a quote.

Ordering Your Posters

Submit your print-ready PDF, JPG, or high-resolution PNG through our order form or by email. Tell us the size, quantity, and finish you want. We’ll confirm the order and print your posters, typically same day or next business day for standard sizes.

Posters for local pickup are available at our Mapleton, UT shop. For shipped orders, rolled posters are packaged in protective tubes. Most shipped orders are in transit within one to two business days of print completion.
